While this zine is not explicit in nature, we will be showcasing suggestive and sexual themes in our works and thus will be requiring every contributor be age 18 or older. This zine is labeled NSFW for suggestive content, but will not have explicit depictions due to the nature of Burlesque being a non-explicit art. There will be opportunity for an uncensored, fully explicit add-on to the zine.Will this zine be physical or digital?
Currently, this project is a digital only, for profit zine. This may change depending on interest check results.Will AI be allowed?
Absolutely not. Creators are not allowed to use AI in any part of their process, or risk getting kicked from the zine automatically and without hesitation.Can I apply to this zine if I don’t know anything about Burlesque?
Yes! Contributors will be provided resources and references to look to during our pitch phase, and mods are always open to questions about the theme or pitches.Are ships are allowed in the zine?
Yes! The zine will allow ships. We will aim for a good balance of different ships so there's something for everyone. Rarepairs are welcome and encouraged.Do contributors need to follow canon?
Contributor works can reference and include canon events in their works, but it is not mandatory to be canon compliant. AUs and headcanons are allowed as long as the ideas still uphold the theme of the zine.
